UPSC NDA 2020 Syllabus

UPSC NDA 2020 Syllabus of GAT and Mathematics : The Union Public Service Comission Board has Upload the Syllabus for NDA 2020. The NDA EXAM Syllabus is Divided into 2 Category i.e. Mathematics and GAT (General Ability Test).

This NDA Exam is Held for Candidates who wants to Serve duty for India. After this Exam you wil join Indian Defence Service for ( Army, Navy and Air Force ). NDA Examination will be Organized 2 Times in a Year.

According to UPSC NDA Exam Pattern 2020 the NDA Exam having 2 Stages, Which is further divided into 2 Sub – Stages (Category). The Total marks in NDA Exam is 1800. And the the each Stage of NDA exam will be Conducted for 900 marks.

  • Stage – I ( Written Test)
  • Stage – II ( SSB Interview)

General Principles of the Following : Pumps, Balloon, Siphon Levers, Hydrometer, Thermos Flasks, Pressure Cooker, Gramophone, Telegraph, Telephone, Periscope, Telescope, Microscope, Mariners Compass, Conductors, Non Conductor, Safety Fuses, Simple Pendulum.

Chemistry

Elements, Physical and Chemical Changes, Mixtures and Compounds, Elementary ideas about the structure of Atom, symbols, Formula, Simple Chemical Equation, Atomic Equivalent and molecular weight, valency, Properties of Air and Water, Law of chemical Combination, Fertilizer- Natural and Artificial, Material used in formation of substance like soap, glass,ink , paper, paints, Gunpowder, Cement, and Safety Matches.

Preparation and Properties : Oxygen, Hydrogen, Nitrogen and Carbon dioxide, Oxidation and Reduction, Acids, bases and Salts.

General Science (GS)

Food – Source of Energy for man, Basis of Life – Cells, Protoplasm and Tissues, Difference between the living and non – living, Common Epidemic, Causes and Prevention, Constituents of food, Balance Diet, Diseases and their Preventation, Vitamins, Elementary Knowledge of Human body and it’s important organs, Growth and reproduction in plant’s and Animals, The Solar system, Achivement of Eminent Scientists.

History | Freedom Movement
